Upon arrival, we were greeted by an exceptionally friendly staff who took the time to explain all the facilities available to us. With ample parking on site, we found it convenient to explore the stunning landscapes of New Zealand. Our room was clean and surprisingly well-appointed, with beautiful views that made relaxing evenings truly enjoyable. Although we had read about the lack of breakfast options, we found a great café, Bak'd, nearby – a perfect spot to fuel up before our hiking adventures. One afternoon, we took advantage of the communal areas, where our kids loved playing darts. It was a brilliant way to unwind after a day exploring the local trails. Despite the hotel's exterior not being very appealing, the interior was clearly being updated and exceeded our expectations. For families like ours, the Greenside offers comfort and warmth, ensuring a pleasant stay.
